Events coming soon .....

Children's Disco - Thursday 8th November

Christmas Fair - Saturday 8th December 12 till 3pm

Here is what we have already done this year.......

Clubicise- We held a virtual firework night at school on Friday 10th November.   Alison White (trained clubicise instructor) kindly offered her time to support this event ran by The friends of the School.  It was a great success.

All children danced the night away to their favourite tracks waving their glow sticks with Alison.  A safe and fun way to celebrate fireworks night and exercise.

Year 2 enterprise project a huge success

As part of a whole school project to learn about enterprise, Year 2 have been learning about how to set up a mini business - selling second-hand books.

Children were split into teams and allocated roles and responsibilities for advertising, marketing, managing, selling and accounting. They collected unwanted, second-hand books from children across the school and then held their book sale.

It was a huge success! Not only have the children promoted reading for pleasure, they also made nearly £150 in profit. This money will pay for a special educational treat for themselves later in the year.

Well done Year 2!
