Maths Homework and Useful Links

In Year 2 we set a maths homework each Friday, to be handed in by Wednesday. We have given each child a folder to keep their returned homework sheets in. The purpose of the maths homework is to:

  • Reinforce the maths we have been doing in lessons that week
  • Focus on children's maths targets
  • Keep key skills sharp with regular practice (e.g. number bonds or multiplication tables)
  • Develop problem solving skills.

Maths homework should not take longer than 30 minutes. If you would like to do extra homework, the links below will help you to support maths learning:
