The Maths Workshop was really well supported.  Thankyou to all those parents who were able to attend.  If you were unable to attend, please find the presentation here.

Homework and Useful Links

Normally, Spellings, Multiplication Tables, Handwriting, Numeracy and a Literacy based homework is handed out on a Friday with their homework diary and both should be handed in the following Wednesday (in accordance with the School Homework Policy).  Occasionally, additional topic based, Science or talktime homework (as a quick discussion / note taking task which supports learning the following day) may be sent home.  The children are expected to spend approximately twenty minutes on each piece of homework set.  We encourage parents to use the homework diary to communicate their child's understanding and indicate whether the work was entirely independent.   Although children have reading sessions in school, it is expected that they read for at least ten minutes, each day at home.
